A set of 3 rusty steel reed sculptures - graduated seed heads of stacked steel balls on slender stems
Inspired by the tall marsh reeds of the Somerset Levels, each sculpture has a seed head built from stacked steel balls of decreasing size - three, four and five balls respectively - gently bowed as if weighted by seed and pushed by the breeze. At over 1 metre tall, they bring the quiet drama of a wild wetland margin to any garden border or pot.
Hand-shaped from solid 6mm steel bar for the stems, each sculpture arrives pre-rusted to a beautiful mottled patina and ready to display, standing tall enough to hold its own among your borders for years to come.
